Turn-Based Strategy Without The Stress
Real-time strategy on a phone is often a mess of fat-fingered taps and panic. Turn-based games sidestep all of that — you think, you tap, you're done. No dexterity tax.
The best of them give you a board you can read at a glance and an AI that plays fair. When I lose, I want it to be because I misjudged something, not because the game cheated behind the fog.
Frontline Cartographers is a good example of the genre done right on mobile. Fifteen minutes, one clear decision at a time, and you actually feel yourself getting sharper.
If real-time strategy has burned you before, give the turn-based side another look. It's a much friendlier fit for a screen you hold in your hands.
