Cozy Sims For Actually Winding Down
Not every night needs a boss fight. Sometimes you want a game that just lets you potter about, and simulation titles are perfect for that.
The good ones have no fail state and no clock breathing down your neck. You do a little, feel a little accomplished, and put the phone down calmer than you picked it up.
Pocket Orchard Days has been my go-to lately. Watering trees and chatting to townsfolk sounds like nothing on paper, but it's exactly the kind of nothing I need after work.
If your feed is full of hyper-competitive games, a cozy sim is a nice reset. Keep one installed for the nights when your brain is already full.
